  Ce film est un prolongement du film La dernière énergie, réalisé par Laura Petitjean. Là où le film de Petitjean se concentre sur l'ultime toile achevée d'Alex Barbier, ce portrait filmé et animé raconte la vie et l'œuvre du dessinateur et peintre, à partir des images et des archives collectées par Petitjean pendant les 5 ans de tournage de son film. Avec des témoignages d'Aline Barbier, Thierry Van Hasselt, JC Menu, Willem, Gérald Messadié, Vincent Fortemps et Dominique Goblet.

  This film is an extension of Laura Petitjean's film In the strongest terms. While Petitjean's film focuses on Alex Barbier's last completed painting, this filmed and animated portrait tells the story of the life and work of the draughtsman and painter, based on the images and archives collected by Petitjean during the 5 years of filming.
