C’est un récit à la première personne, une autofiction. Cela parle d’un moment de confusion où la réalisatrice redéfinit son rapport au monde, bousculée plus que prévu par le fait de devenir maman. Elle s’est retrouvée dans une forme d’introspection quasi immobile. Elle évoque cette immobilité qui l’a d’abord effrayée, puis qu’elle a observée, acceptée, pour se rendre compte qu'elle n’était pas du tout immobile, mais dans un mouvement très lent, incroyablement fort. Cette lenteur lui permettant de contempler tout un tas de choses de plus près, de s’en émerveiller, et de continuer à être vivante.
It is a first person narrative. It's about a moment of confusion when the director redefines her relationship to the world, more than expected by the fact of becoming a mother. She found herself in an almost immobile form of introspection. She evokes this immobility which at first frightened her, then she observed and accepted this immobility, only to realize that she was not at all immobile, but in a very slow, incredibly strong movement. This slowness allowed her to contemplate a whole host of things more closely, to marvel at them, and to continue to be alive.
