À 36 ans, Jean découvre son père en vie pour la première fois en visionnant des films super 8 d’anciennes réunions de famille. Il décide alors de retracer la trajectoire accidentée de son histoire familiale et de dessiner le portrait d’un père absent, à travers le récit de celles et ceux qui l’ont connu.
At the age of 36, Jean discovers his father alive for the first time by viewing Super 8 films of old family reunions. He then decided to retrace the uneven trajectory of his family history and to draw the portrait of an absent father, through the accounts of those who knew him.
